SETUP organises events for both ‘makers’ of digital culture as well as a wider audience interested in digital culture. SETUP already strongly believes thet they should be as open as possible about what they do. For example: you can follow the development of new events (and join in). You can also propose an event, or use their space if you’re organising an event yourself.
One of the activities in 2013 was an open source party, a party that was build ground up by the audience based on open content and/or open source software. They approached Circular Content founder Sebastiaan ter Burg to host a workshop on remixing open content – photos, illustrations and video – to create VJ content that could be shown during the open party.
